Service · warranty · spare parts
When the unit stops running.
In a catering business, downtime costs money. Here is what happens then — and what is still possible long after the warranty has expired.
Four steps on one axis.
Step 01
Report it
Call or send the enquiry. We need: the model (it is on the type plate), what exactly happens, since when — and the proof of purchase.
Step 02
Narrow it down
On the phone or from a photo we work out which component is likely at fault. In many cases that saves shipping the whole unit.
Step 03
Part or repair
Either the spare part goes out, or the unit comes to us. Which applies in which case, we say beforehand — not afterwards.
Step 04
After the warranty too
This is where most suppliers stop. Because MEMO is our own brand, blades, motors, bearings and remote controls remain available — then against invoice.
NoteThis process is a proposal based on what is customary in the catering and air conditioning trade — we do not know your internal steps, deadlines and responsibilities. Tell us how it really works at your end and your process will stand here. Nothing is invented, because that is exactly where complaints go wrong.

Not every part is in the catalogue. If you have a designation or a photo, we will find it — for older units too.
These come up most often.
No. In Germany, refrigerant-carrying equipment may only be filled and commissioned by people holding the certificate of competence. The installation kit with 3 m of refrigerant line is part of the delivery — it is not a licence to commission the system yourself. A portable unit, on the other hand, you simply place in the room, hang the exhaust hose in the window and plug in.
